The End of the Seminole Wars

Big_Pasture_1905.png

This episode sums up the Seminole Wars. We look at the US Navy and Marine's efforts in the Everglades against the remaining Seminoles, dive into a high-level review of the American Indian Wars, and provide a few statistics about the conflict. We end the episode by heading out west and discuss the struggle between Texas, local Native American tribes, and Mexico. The conflict of these three nations would lead to Texas earning its independence from Mexico and eventually joining the United States.
